Directed by Julia Dyer
Starring: Olivia Harris, John Hawkes, Molly Parker, Alexandra Doke, Ian Veteto
Grade: B -

It has taken 17 years for them to collaborate again—and Gretchen’s death in 2009 sadly ensures that this will be their final project together. While the gay-themed Late Bloomers chronicled cultural and sexual enlightenment between established professionals, the characters in The Playroom aren’t so open.
