I've seen 22 of those! *feels superior*

In all seriousness: why you haven't seen Interiors?

"Howards End" either?
:)

I've seen 52 performances from that list, but I'm sure there are others you saw and I didn't.

you've definitely saved some killer films and fabulous performances.

I wouldn't keep such a list, because I'd rather see them year by year, for the blog. in many ways I'm actually avoiding films with Best Actress performances because I'd rather (re)discover them thru the blog. :)

@J.D.: I just haven't got around to it? I think I deliberately went and watched noms I wasn't *that* fussed about, so I'd have plenty left at the end. I'm saving Geraldine for the final 50!

@Alex: I only just recently saw "Sense and Sensibility" too, haha. So many films, so little time ;-)

I wish I could do them all year-by-year like you, so that I could judge them on an even playing field (think the only year I did that with was '44), but it's often difficult to get them all at once. Plus I couldn't trust myself to be able to knock up those great analyses you do in so quick a time.

oh, come on, I'm not worth the flattering. :) I'm moving slow, but I'm somehow ok with that. If I'll still live to be 40, healthy and sane, I might finish them by then. :)

anyway, I do recommend saving Interiors till the end, it's a very special film, one of Woody's best imo, no doubt.

Wow, only hundred left, quite an achievement! I think I have a little more but I took some time off from the ladies and focused more on other categories. It would be really great if you could do an analysis of a certain year (and your rewiews are always great!).
BTW, I think that Nick wrote on his blog that he had to go to some kind of archive to see Betty Barker so I think it will be very difficult to see her.

@Fritz: Yeah, I think he had to go to the UCLA archives to see it. I do know that it played at the London Film Festival a couple of years ago though, so there's still hope.

The problem with the year thing is that I'm deliberately trying to leave one or two from as many years as I can, so that I have a variety remaining at the end. I might think about doing 1975 all at once, as I really want to see Adjani again and I still have another three from that year to view. But it'll likely be a way off yet.

don't have too much faith in Hedda (1975). :)
it's quite underplayed and non-adventurous.
