Well, The Letter (1940) is in my ...Thanks Fritz :)<br /><br />Well, <i>The Letter</i> (1940) is in my top fifteen films of all time, so that may have a little to do with it. I've never seen Bette connect with a character more than she does in that, though her previous year's showing in <i>Dark Victory</i> comes fairly close.
